Weigh cost, speed and volume to pick the right freight option for your next big shipment.
Air freight wins on speed and on high-value, low-weight cargo. Sea freight wins on volume: once a shipment fills a significant part of a container, the per-kilo cost drops far below anything air can offer.
As a rule of thumb, if the goods are perishable, seasonal or urgently needed, fly them. If they are bulky, durable and planned weeks ahead, ship them.
